De Dressing
Geerje Dys, our founder's mother, orginated our delicious "Slau Saus" in Holland in the early 1900s. She selected the ingredients from the local village market and served it at special occasions throughout the summer months. In 1975 when John Dys opened the first De Dutch, his mother suggested he use her recipe as our house dressing. It has been a traditional favourite throughout the chain ever since.
